This Week's Best Streetwear Drops: From Billionaire Boys Club to Civilist

Check out our favorite streetwear drops of the week, hand-picked by our editors.

Billionaire Boys Club 20th Anniversary

Renowned rapper Brent Faiyaz is the poster boy for Billionaire Boys Club’s latest and last collection of 2023 in honor of the label’s 20th anniversary. In a dreamy, high-contrast campaign, Faiyaz can be seen sporting new pieces from the brand’s collection inspired by outer space and new motifs of the label’s personal Astronaut icon. Popular emblems of astrology and space travel can be found throughout the collection over a vast selection of hoodies, sweatpants, and graphic t-shirts, among accessories as well. The main star of the collection, besides Faiyaz, is a varsity jacket decked out in embroidered patches, such as a charging horse and a moon boot print. A key graphic can be found on the back of the jacket, featuring the silhouette of an astronaut with blue and red veins stretching across his body. Check out the collection on the Billionaire Boys Club website.

Anti Social Social Club x True Religion “Self Indulgence”

Two of the most influential streetwear labels have come together for a collaboration titled “Self Indulgence,” with rapper Rich the Kid at the forefront of the campaign. Pulling hardy workwear aesthetics and construction from True Religion and staples of the streetwear niche from ASSC, the collection features a blend of canvas jackets and pants alongside essential hoodies, tees, and sweaters. Typical of True Religion’s motifs, thick embroidery, and stitching can be found throughout outerwear and pants options such as a black canvas jacket and pants co-ord, complete with white stitching. ASSC lettering is mixed throughout, distorted into the horseshoe shape of the True Religion logo. Check out the collection on Anti Social Social Club’s website.

Canada Goose x BAPE

In honor of BAPE’s 30th anniversary, the Japanese luxury streetwear label has teamed up with luxury outerwear brand Canada Goose to release a new collection. The collaboration pulls characteristics from Canada Goose, such as their mission to connect with the outdoors, and BAPE’s signatures, such as the ABC CAMO print, that make BAPE who they are in the fashion world. In light of the winter season, the collection features practical garments such as oversized cargo pants, puffer coats, and hoodies, and vests perfect for layering. The iconic Canada Goose Crofton Puffer is a piece, now enveloped in BAPE signatures, that performs technically while still delivering the allure of lifestyle dressing. BAPE’s recognizable Giant ABC CAMO colorway will now be available in a new “Snow” colorway: a combination of grey and white. For earthier tones, look to the classic ABC Camo colorway of green and brown. Check out the collection and lookbook on BAPE’s website.

Civilist Holiday 2023

Just in time for the holidays ahead, Berlin-based skate label Civilist has released its holiday 2023 collection. Graphics of the collection lean into distorted and almost dream-like styles, from smiley faces to Civilist text in a swirly font. Garments of choice come down to knit sweaters, hoodies, and sweatpants, along with the usual range of t-shirts. Some pieces remain more tailored to appeal to the average lifestyle apparel aficionado compared to skater and streetwear fans who can find the usual oversized suspects within the collection. Pops of color and eye-catching pastels reign over the collection, with graphics sporting hints of red and hoodies made from a soft shade of lavender. Accessories include a balaclava with Civilist script across the front, checkered beanies, socks, belts, and even a skate deck. Check out the collection on the Civilist website.
