Fresh off her recognition as the 2024 MTV Video Vanguard Award recipient, Katy Perry has dropped her new single, "I’m His, He’s Mine" featuring rapper Doechii.
The upbeat track sees the two artists trading verses as they confidently express their relationships. This latest release is part of Perry’s highly anticipated album, 143, set to debut on September 20 via Capitol Records.
The accompanying music video, directed by Torso, is equally as bold as the song itself. In the visual, Perry shares a passionate skydiving moment with her partner and performs on the hood of a Corvette as it cruises through Barcelona. Doechii also makes a dramatic entrance, descending from a drone while mirroring the song’s empowering message.
Perry debuted "I’m His, He’s Mine" live during her show-stopping return to the MTV stage at the 2024 VMAs, where she performed a medley of her biggest hits. This marked her first performance at the awards show since 2017 and included a surprise appearance by Doechii.
"I'm His, He's Mine" is now available on all streaming platforms, while fans eagerly await the release of 143 later this month.
