Press Play: Jordan Ward and Joony on New Single “Jealousy”

Jordan Ward and Joony have teamed up for their latest single, "Jealousy," from their upcoming collaborative EP JRNY. The track delves into emotional unavailability, as both artists reflect on their inability to fully commit to their relationships despite their admiration for their partners. Directed by City James, the accompanying music video follows Ward and Joony as they navigate their internal struggles on a music video set and later at a house party.

"Jealousy" follows the duo’s 2022 collaboration, "IDC," and was first premiered live at Broccoli City Festival, showcasing their undeniable chemistry. Ward is fresh off his European 2EURWARD tour, which took him to cities like Amsterdam, Paris, and Lisbon, as well as major U.S. performances at Broccoli City Festival and SummerStage in Central Park. Meanwhile, Joony’s star continues to rise after his breakout moment on Brent Faiyaz’s Wasteland and his latest album, MEMENTO (Deluxe).

Ward has had a standout 2024, landing on Billboard's "15 Hip-Hop & R&B Artists to Watch" list and earning an NAACP Image Award nomination. He also contributed to the soundtrack for the remake of Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead. Joony has kept busy as well, featuring on Blxst’s latest album and signing with Red Bull Records in partnership with Blxst’s Evgle imprint. "Jealousy" is a testament to both artists' growth and evolving sound, and fans can pre-order JRNY now.
